About Me

Bio:

My name is Jeffrey Daijiro Taylor and I am a music composer, audio designer and project coordinator based in the L.A. area.

​In the games industry, I've served as an audio designer, composer and project manager for an indie game called Iaijutsu. As the audio designer, I was in charge of the game's sound design, music, and FMOD to Unity implementation. 
On the project management side, I was in charge of running our Jira session, leading team meetings and publishing the game.

On the film side, my most notable audio mix has been for an indie film called Moments Fleeting, which has gone on to win 9 IMDB qualifying awards including one from the prestigious Director's Guild of America.

In my video breakdown of the audio mix I created for the film Moments Fleeting, you’ll see how my session's signal flow was laid out, how I thought about dialogue automation, how I tackled editing dialogue in a language I don't speak, how I think about world building in my ambiances and how I managed being both the composer and audio mixer on the project.

Background:
After our game's initial producer left the project to accept a new role as an Associate Producer at Raven Software, I had the opportunity to take our team to the finish line as the team's new producer. In the 4 months that I've served as the game's producer, my responsibilities have been as follows.
